JMJT SMC Wall panel Die structure design
• Single cavity mold: the structure is relatively simple, only one SMC wall panel can be formed at a time, suitable for small batch production or product trial production stage, low cost, debugging and maintenance is also more convenient.
• Multi-cavity mold: Multiple SMC wallboards can be formed at the same time, greatly improving production efficiency and reducing mold costs per unit product. However, it is difficult to design and manufacture, and it is necessary to ensure the dimensional accuracy and consistency of each cavity, as well as the uniform distribution of materials in each cavity.
• Combined mold: composed of a number of detachable parts, easy to repair the mold and replace the damaged parts, but also according to different product size and shape combination adjustment, improve the versatility of the mold.
Mold manufacturing process
• Machining: Through lathe, milling machine, grinding machine, drilling machine and other mechanical processing equipment, the mold material cutting, grinding, drilling and other processing operations, in order to achieve the size and accuracy of the design requirements. The application of computer numerical control (CNC) machining technology can improve the machining accuracy and efficiency, and ensure the stability of mold quality.
• Surface treatment: In order to improve the hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and release performance of the mold surface, it is necessary to perform surface treatment of the mold. Common surface treatment methods include chrome plating, nickel plating, nitriding and so on. These treatments can form a hard, smooth protective film on the surface of the mold, extending the service life of the mold, but also conducive to the demoulding of SMC wallboard and improving the surface quality of the product.
