Product Introduction
High strength and high precision: SMC material has high strength and hardness, so the mold needs to have the corresponding high strength and high precision to ensure the molding quality and dimensional accuracy of the hand washing trough. Generally speaking, the processing accuracy of the mold can be controlled between 0.02mm and 0.05mm.
Complex structural design: The shape and structure of the hand washing trough is more complex, usually including the basin bottom, basin wall, drain and other parts, so the structure of the mold is also relatively complex, the need to design a reasonable parting surface, release mechanism, etc., to ensure that SMC material can be evenly filled in the molding process, and smooth release.
Heating system: SMC material needs to be heated during the molding process to make it solidify and form. Therefore, the SMC hand washing sink mold is usually equipped with a heating system, the common heating methods are steam heating, oil heating, electric heating, etc., the heating temperature is generally between 140℃-160℃.
High surface quality requirements: As a kind of sanitary ware, the surface quality requirements of the hand washing tank are high. Mold material
Die steel: High quality die steel is commonly used to make SMC hand washing sink molds, such as P20, 718, H13, S136, etc. These die steels have good strength, toughness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and can meet the working requirements of the mold under high temperature and high pressure.
Surface treatment: In order to improve the surface hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the die, the die surface will also
be treated, such as nitriding treatment, hard chrome plating treatment and so on. In addition, surface texture treatment can also be carried out according to needs, such as sandblasting, etch, etc., to increase the beauty and anti-slip performance of the surface of the hand washing tank.
Manufacturing process
Design: According to the shape, size and use requirements of the hand washing sink, mold design. The design process needs to use professional mold design software, such as UG, CAD, ProE, etc., to carry out detailed design and optimization of the mold structure, parting surface, release mechanism, cooling system, etc.
Processing: In the process of mold manufacturing, it is necessary to use a variety of processing equipment, such as CNC machining center, milling machine, grinding machine, wire cutting, electric discharge machining, etc., to process the die steel to obtain the required shape and dimensional accuracy.
Assembly and debugging: the mold parts after processing need to be assembled and debugging to ensure that the various parts of the mold can work normally, the parting surface is tightly fitted, and the demoulding mechanism is flexible and reliable. In the assembly process, the mold also needs to be cleaned, oiled and other maintenance work to prevent rust and corrosion of parts.
